Windy Walk
After our windy Thursday night, we scientists went for a walk and discovered a casualty of the storm.  We put our science skills to work and discovered this bird is a House Finch and speculated it died when the tree it was in, toppled in the wind.

A Little Perspective
Examining material possessions the world over.
What are we Thankful for?  What is the MOST important to us?  What is the MOST important to humanity?

Laurel Creek Takes Action!
Students work to advocate for the Syrian Children Refugees.  They are reaching out to T.B.S. to raise money to ensure these children have food, shelter, warmth, healthcare and water.  PLEASE HELP by donating change.

We are GRATEFUL for our amazing families!

Examining Families Around the World
In the film BABIES we experienced just how different (and similar) families and childhood are in a range of places.
We feel so grateful to have such wonderfully inquisitive learners, compassionate, caring students and supportive loving parents in our community.  Thank you for all you do for your children and their education.  Have a wonderful vacation!

Love,
Nancy and Cate
